Sweden part 2

Just a few more pics from the beautiful Sweden:

The followings two pics were both taken at the Vättern:

We drove to another camping site, again in the middle of a forest, at a picturesque lake:

What you can't see, of course, is that there were two big disadvantages on this camping site. The first one because people were basically allowed to put there tent and car or caravan wherever they wanted, making it quite a challenge to get out car out again. This was even more so because it was a rather hilly area. The second disadvantage was the reallynotgoodenuff toilet. There were only two for women, and they weren't quite clean enough, and even though you could lock the door, insects could still crawl/fly inside, so you had to fight evil swedish killer insects, while sitting there...

So we drove on, to yet another camping site. A biggish part of the holidays my bf spend like this:

As I unfortunately recommended a good book to him, a crime novel taking place in the very area were we were camping!

Sweden part 1

We decided to go camping in Sweden again, here are the pics.

We drove from Copenhagen to Helsingør, and from there took the ferry to Helsingborg, which takes about five seconds.

The next few hours looked like this:

Swedish motorways, luckily quite empty for the most part.

And here's one for the sewing machine enthusiasts, as we drove through Huskvarna.

Finally arriving at our starting point of this journey, Askersund, which also was the ending point of the last one.

It was a good place to start, because we really liked it last year, and it's a really beautiful place, and it has clean toilets! This is how we (ermmm... Jakob, until he forces me to remove that pic) looked like after endless hours in the car.

More soon.

When Denmark just isn't good enuff!

Besides a really shitty government, there are other things that make Denmark just not good enuff! One of those things is chocolate. They do not have Ritter Sport Sommersorten! Which is a special type of Ritter Sport chocolates, just sold in the summer months. Obviously I got a really bad pregnancy craving for them, so I forced my parents to send me some.

Another food related topic where Denmark fails is convenience food. I do love to cook, but there are days when I'm too tired, and the few choices of convenience food that exist are really bad. I don't understand it, everyone in Denmark works (outside home), there are no housewives or -men, this should be paradise for convenience food importers!

In knitting related stuff: I moved most of it to ravelry (yay for ravelry).

I'm back! ish...

I don't know yet if I will start posting regularly again, but today I will post a WalkWithMe. I used to live a lot closer to Dragør, just a 20 minutes ride on bicykle, but now it takes almost an hour with the bus. But it was worth it:
