I hate blocking (not blogging tho)

... but I love knitting! I have been knitting a lot of boring stuff lately, and I just couldn't be arsed to put pics of it on the blog. Ravelry is a better place for that. But right now I knit something I reallyreally like, and that is SO pretty!

I'm knitting a FeatherAndFan shawl of sock yarn rests:

Look at the details!

And now I'm at it, here's more knitting:

(Yes, I have a big flash)

Burning love!

For some absurd reason this dish is called Burning Love in Danish. It's definitely delicious, though.

Fry some bacon:

(Aaaaargh, I hate starting with a really bad pic :| )

Fry a lot of onions in the bacon fat:

Boil potatoes:

Mash 'em! And don't forget to put a good amount of butter and milk in it.

Combine:

Eat!

The food blogging is back!

I used to love the food blogging part of my blog! The combination is just great, food + pictures. This also leads me to read lots of food blogs. Some of them are more absurd than inspiring tho, I mean wtf was I thinking when I added a fat-free and vegan blog? Vegan food can be great of course, as long as it isn't everyday, but fat free...? That's just sad. Mostly I love blogs that combine food blogging with everyday blogging, and there are a lot of great ones out there. I found a new one of that category (new to me that is), and it is so inspiring I decided to food blog again. So without further ado:

Yesterdays dinner.

mMmmm lots of fat in there mMmm

Moremoremore

Even without a baby and all the stuff that follows, we needed more storage space. So besides the dresser, we also bought some more Ikea parts for our bookshelf, which thereby could increase 50% in size. Just putting the new next to the old would have been the easy solution, but those Ikea shelves really get an ugly orange colour over the years, so we decided they needed some whitewaxing. This also meant everything had to be removed from them...

But it was all worth it! It looks great, and there is still space that can be filled with stuff!

Oh yes, and we also bought a babybedthingie!
