He also got his first scissor, which was a bigger hit than anticipated.

I've been using the recipes from their book, and they are amazing! Basically you make a giant batch of yeast dough, put it in the refrigerator, and bake it during the following 2 weeks. This has several ingenious advantages. First and foremost, it is really quick the bake a bread when you want one, the dough is ready, just take it out of the fridge, leave it for half an hour or so, then throw it in the oven. And it is delicious!




I hate knitting gloves, but I hate cold fingers even more, so...

Big boy

We visited Flensburg and my parents for fall break, and I managed to take nada pictures. Almost nada that is.



M's language has 'sploded, it is so much fun to hear him tell long stories. He also likes to decide what to wear now. This was that days choice:

For some unknown reason, the baby can walk up all those steps without a problem, but his legs hurt when he has to walk up the stairs at home. Grmphh.

Well, at least he likes one other kid. This was the first time he really played with Lisa, instead of looking at her like some annoyance. Actually he seemed at bit in love, he couldn't stop touching her, preferably rubbing his head on her back.
