It is summer it is summer...

... soon.

Therefore I started sewing hats for the BigBoy. He is very interested in the sewing machine, on which he has sewn himself, and even more in the overlocker.

Yesterdays dinner was delicious!

Socks. Thats it.

I've ordered some black shoes, so there is some serious danger of me looking conservative, SO I've started knitting socks to counterbalance this. TADA!

Excuser mon...

... terrible pictures, but neither BigBoy nor my camera were cooperating. Also excuser mon non-existent French.

I have been sewing!

The following is my first attempt, and while it turned out way too big, the sewing part went well enough. It is the sweater I am talking about btw.

Next try was way better, only the arms being too long now. We even sent him to daycare in this outfit. Also, you can see it is friday, because he just had his friday-cookie, and therefore has a chocolate beard.

The reason for the season successful sewing can be seen on the following pic: An overlocker! Or serger, or whatever you call it. Yay. And no, the overlocker also didn't want me to take pictures of it...

Baby-knit

I've about a gazillion almost finished objects for the baby, but I hate HATE HATE finishing, especially sewing on buttons. Here are two, more will hopefully be posted about soon.

The first one is the classic baby surprise jacket. Love it. It is knit with one skein of Zauberball, which looks great in this pattern. I did an i-cord cast-off for the first time, and while it takes a bit longer, that is one amazing cast-off!

The next one is the equally classic Ruths undertrøje. Only mod I made, was to add two inches to the length.
