I finished the lace thingie, but I haven't woven in the ends and I haven't blocked it yet. I'm actually not quite sure how to blog silk, soak it in water, or is that a bad idea? Must google!
I love my kitchen gadgets, and I use all of them. Therefore real fun for me is getting a new kitchen gadget! Like the one in the middle of the window sill. I bought a Bosch kitchen machine!
The bread I had a picture of yesterday was made with it. It is amazing! It feels like cheating, baking bread without all the hard work. We named it KingKong. We thought it had to have the name of a really strong person (Billie Jean King :D she's the coolest!) and somehow we ended up with KingKong... Yeah... All things have names... The food processor next to kitchen machine is called HakkeSnittePiskeFløde, and the bread baking machine is called WrumWrum.

Books and more part 2
I stopped reading Irene Dische, Flugten til Amerika, I simply didn't like it. Luckily the library is full of other books! I started reading Kiran Desai's The Inheritance of Loss. I've just read the first few pages (while being really tired yesterday evening) but so far it's good. This must be the first ever library book I had that was signed by the author!
Here you can see the progress of the apple tree. Well u prolly can't see the progress, but thats mainly because it's out of focus :@
It has been really autumnish weather, with incredible amounts of rain and wind, and this is what I woke up to this morning :( my poor hydrangea.
Umm yes, and i've been baking again.

Ææææh
I'm not sure how the "proper" way to answering a comment is, with another comment? Or leave a comment at the commenters blog? Hmmmm....
I've been knitting on this lace thingie, pictures soon.
My holidays started, so I've been doing lots of fun stuff, like baking and cooking. MmmMmmmMMmmmm.
We eat this tomato sauce at least once a week, coz its so good, secret *pffft* ingredients are chicken stock, sugar, turmeric, balsamic vinegar, red lentils and lots and lots (and lots) of basil leaves.

Holidays mwuahaha!!!
I'd really like to know how they succeeded in writing on that building? From the roof hanging head down???
When I came home from work yesterday there was this huge parcel form Amazon waiting for me! Yuhuu!!
It was mainly filled with air...
But deep down inside there was this:
The Crafter's Companion, and Jane Sowerby's Victorian Lace Today! Even tho I was really tired I started reading both yesterday, and they are soooo good! The pictures in Victorian Lace are so beautiful, and the Crafter's Companion is very inspiring!
The next pictures I prolly have to remove again, but until someone protests loud enough for me to hear (hej Leena :D ) they will be here!!
Before holidays started there was a last day of hard work:
But as soon as we opened a bottle of white wine it was all so much more fun XD

A little bit of knitting
There has been very little knitting, as I have been busy with work, but the holidays are just around the corner hurra \o/. I did start the second Spiral Boot Sock tho.
Yesterday I started reading Cormac McCarthy's The Road, and I like it but I don't know if I love it yet. Its about a man and his son walking through a destroyed world, and what I CAN say so far is that it succeeds in describing a grey and pessimistic atmosphere.
They are still working on the crossing. I try to remind myself that it is worth it and it will be much better when they finish it!

Walk with me (in Utterslev Mose)
Yesterday I my dentist tortured me (checked my teeth). And told me it will be a verrry expensive summer, even though I didn't have any cavities. It seems my old cavity fillings don't sit as good as they used to, so something painful and expensive has to be done :( ... Oi!
Afterwards I needed something to distract me from that, so my bf and me went to Utterslev Mose, and took 1 gazillion pics.
At some point we had to get off our bikes, because of those geese. We were slightly worried that they would attack us.
Doesn't this look idyllic?
Actually you could here a motorway, as it is in the middle of Copenhagen, and walking a few meters, you could see this:
It continued to alternate between beautiful and ugly.
Mostly beautiful though!
