Knitting!
There has been some knitting! I finished a pair of plain socks. Nice colour!
And then I started knitting the Alpine Knit Scarf from my Victorian Lace Today book. I totally ignored that it said "experienced lace", and consequently ran in to trouble... with the first stitch. The first stitch of every row is slipped, not knit, with the instruction "slip purlwise with yarn at wrong side". This I did for a couple of rows until realizing that it makes two different edges. Ææææh.... I did check the net and finally decided to slip with yarn in front at every row instead. Dunno if that's what was intended, but it sure does look better.
I finished Håkon Nessers book. Really nice relaxed holiday reading, and a pageturner for many couple of hundred pages, but like many crime novels, it disappoints at the end. I started reading Marilynne Robinson: Housekeeping. Love it.

At my brothers part 3...
As it was harvesting season we saw a lot of these:
This is really as Danish as it gets, and if I lived in the countryside I'd probably think it was boring, but I live in the middle of Copenhagen, so I took a picture of it:
Look at the colours, so pretty!
When we had been out walking for quite a while we had the choice between walking all the way back, or hoping for a short-cut, and there was this small road that led in the right direction, but had a sign saying blind-end... We took the chance, and the road led us past this house:
It actually led very close past this house, and kinda looked like a private road, so we didn't linger to take good pictures, but even on this less good picture u can see it had a really nice courtyard.
My brother and I drove to Præstø for shopping. I kinda like this picture of my brother:
I was way too lazy to get out of the car to take some good pictures, but it is still possible to see how smalltownharbourindenmark-idyllic it is:
We went for one last walk, this time through the forest:
Looks nice, eh? What u can't see of course is me trying to run away from all the insects that were attacking me, so I was quite happy that there were some pretty openings everywhere:
And suddenly we could see the water again:
One last walk through forest, and then... what is he doing? O_o I wonder if I have to remove this picture again if bf is protesting (too much)
The last evening I was the chef. So here a few picture of us (sans me tho) before going home:

At my brothers part 2...
But before we start with today's program, lets have a little commercial! If u do have a trashy chocolate taste, u should try these:
Ritter Sport SommerSorten, that can only be bought in Germany, or at least u can't buy them in Denmark, so I asked my parents to import some. They are soooooo goooooood! But that's enough commercial break, lets start with WalkWithMe:
The weather was good, so everything looked so idyllic. The trees on this picture are only are few hundred meters away from my brothers house, and they are C H E R R Y trees! How nice is that!
If u follow the road a few more minutes u can see the water:
It was harvesting time, which of course also meant that we could hear them harvest from early in the morning to late at night, but it also meant that there were views like this:
In the evening we went for a short walk too:

Long time no blogging!
There is a reason for that, as I've been visiting my brother for a couple of days. There will be a lot of pictures! So lets start.
My brother lives in this perfect little 2-rooms house.
There is a huge garden, with a lot of fruit trees and all kinds of plants and flowers (and insects).
I have never seen this plant thingie before, is doesn't seem to have any leaves:
And of course when u have a huge garden, u have to have one of these:
Inside the house there are two rooms, and a perfect kitchen:
The most amazing feature my brothers house has, however, is the view, where u also can sit and read for example:
And here we are, enjoying a chocolate cake. Hej mor og far, I er på nettet :D !
There are lots more pictures, more tomorrow!

Flowers
I've got this cactus outside on my balcony, and even though it had a label on it saying it couldn't survive in frost weather it is outside in the winter too. I tried to move it once but stopped as soon as I realized it had given me about 20 tiny thorns in my finger :@ but it does have the most beautiful flowers each summer, so I wont throw it away. Well I guess I cant throw it away anyhow, as I would have to get close to it again for that, right?
The other ones are pretty too.
And then there is bread and butter. MmmmMMmmm....

Walk with me 4
This is what it looks like when me and my bf go for a walk. We have 2 huge cameras, and we have to stop everywhere because we take pictures of different things.
I, for example, take pictures of flowers and trees. I would like to have a tree like this one in my (imaginary) garden:
I do not own a garden or a house, but if I could pick freely, I just might live here:
It is actually so green, it looks kinda frightening? No, if I really could pick n choose freely, I'd probably would live here, in the Algol house:
It even is situated (hmm what would that be in real english?) on a nice street:
If I had a garden I would have a tree like the following, it looks like it could talk, like something out of a fairytale:
And I also would have those flowers, love 'em!
We felt rather adventurous for dinner yesterday, so we bought kangaroo steaks. I did like it more than my bf who thought it tasted a little bit like liver.
I did finish the vest thingie I was knitting, and I absolutely hate it. I hate the color, the shape and I never even liked the yarn. Æhem. But its finished!
