Alexander McCall Smith

If you aren't already reading Alexander McCall Smith's No.1 Ladies' Detective Agency series, please give it a try. You don't have to like crime novels, it isn't a crime novel actually. The only disadvantage is probably that you want to move to Botswana after reading these books, to meat Mma Ramotswe, Mma Makuts, Mr J.LB. Matekoni and all the others. McCall Smith has such a simple but beautiful style of writing, and the books just make you (æhhh that is = me) feel good.



But this isn't just about books. It's about bread too!
